I am sorry for my late reply. Hope you are not too frustrated by little
feedback volume. :-)

Thank you very much for putting so much effort into this. I installed the
ISO in a virtual machine, but are unfortunately experiencing network troubles,
so I did not get any IDS rules downloaded, yet.

The redesigned user interface looks quite nice and is intuitive (as far
as I can tell). At the moment, only one minor issue showed up: When downloading
IDS rules (or attempting to do so), "snort" is still displayed in the
message instead of "IDS" or "suricata".

I will write more details as soon I got the network to work properly.
