Hello Michael,
I've downloaded your kernel and tested it on my x86_64 Virtual Machine.
The kernel boots smooth, also the bootsplash appears.
All services started up probably also network will came up and I was
able to connect to the machine via SSH.
[root(a)ipfire ~]# uname -r
3.3.6-1.ip3.x86_64
