Hi,

having some time I looked around and found some rather old (Net-)packages:

Net-DNS
'next': 0.47
current: 1.12
Used in: 'sa-update', 'amavisd', 'vpnmain.cgi', 'ovpnmain.cgi'

Net-Server
'next': 0.97
current: 2.009
Used in: 'amavisd'

Net-Telnet
'next': 3.03
current: 3.04
Used in: 'checkrad', 'wio.cgi', 'index.cgi', 'ovpnmain.cgi'

Net_SSLeay (why named with underscore, shouldn't it be 'Net-SSLeay'!?)
'next': 1.55
current: 1.81
Used in: 'general-functions.pl', 'sendEmail'

I just searched for "use net::[package_name]", of course there can be
further hits.

Now the "critical" question: ;-)
I think updatting these could be delicate, so I ask BEFORE I spend to
much work and time with it => is there any interest in updating these
packages!?

Since I can't test them all under all needed circumstances, I'm very
careful about it.

Best,
Matthias
