The updat= ed Suricata version neither seems to introduce problems nor solves any I observed in the past. On my test= ing machine (Intel N3150), throughput with IPS enabled is about the same compared to Core Update 151. Tested IPFire functionalities in detail: - IPsec (N2N connections only) - Squid (authentication enabled, using an upstream proxy) - OpenVPN (RW connections only) - IPS/Suricata (with Emerging Threats ruleset enabled) - Guardian - Quality of Service - DNS (with DNS over TLS and strict QNAME minimisation) - Dynamic DNS - Tor (relay mode) Since I do not use Samba (and never would do so on a firewall for security re= asons ;-) ), I am unfortunately unable to test those changes. Besides that, I look forward to the release of = Core Update 152. Thanks, and best regards, Peter M=C3=BCller --===============6160272401401530058==--
