Hi All,

I found that the squidclamav addon is version 5.11 from 2012. The latest version available is 7.1 from 2019.

However I just want to check if squidclamav is one of the addons that is planned to be removed.

If it is then I will not do an update.

If it will be staying then I will do an update build and submit the patch.

Regards,

Adolf.

Hello,

No it isn’t planned to remove this.

The reason why we cannot upgrade is that our proxy does not use the ICAP protocol to talk to the helpers like squidGuard, update-accelerator and squidclamav. We are using the legacy redirector interface which is no longer supported in newer versions of squidclamav.

Best,
-Michael
