Hi,

again, I got some problems pushing/pulling to/from GIT:

...
root(a)Devel64: /git/ipfire-2.x # git push mfischer next
ssh: connect to host git.ipfire.org port 22: Network is unreachable
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
...

I payed my bills! I promise! The check is in the mail! Really! ;-)

Can we be friends again? Or have I done something wrong?

Best,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

Sorry, I missed to reply to this.

Is this still an issue or did it resolve itself?

No problem => self-healing. ;-)

Yesterday everything was normal again.

Best,
Matthias

Okay. Let me know if it happens again…

Sounds like you ran into fail2ban again.

Hello Matthias,

assuming you tried to log in from an IP address assigned to DTAG and
used for dial-up-purposes (80.144.x.x), there have been indeed four
failed SSH login attempts from it on Sunday morning (~ 08:00 CET).

The same IP address caused one failed SSH login attempt again yesterday,
at 15:56:44 CET, but did not exceed the limit this time. :-)

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, and best regards,
Peter Müller

I just got kicked out, too.

The limits seem to be too low.

Indeed. But its somehow soothing, that I'm not the only one...

P.S.: Я признаю, что я в России. ;-)
P.P.S.: 80.144.x.x - yes, this could have been me.
