Redirect to bugzilla page for invalid bug number on new wiki

There seems to be a quick link to bugzilla. When I click on a wiki “#1", I end up on a bugzilla page for an invalid bug number. Here is where I see the redirect: https://wiki.ipfire.org/addons/tor/why-use-tor Just click on the #1 or the #2. Is this a markdown enhancement? Or? This doesn’t seem like a bug, but I can add it to bugzilla if needed. I can change the tor webpage from: ## #1 - Tor does not encrypt your content -to- ## 1) Tor does not encrypt your content

New wiki - images and syntax highlighting

Hi all, tried to fix a couple of wikis now and have some questions. 1) In the old wiki was a picture manager which i currently miss in the new one. How could be overseen which pictures are available to delete unused ones or upload new ones or relink existing ones ? 2) The syntax highlighting seems to be a little buggy. a) For example a ```bash ... ... ``` marks sometimes bash commands (in that specific case 'cd') in red, the same command in another bash code tag in regular white, it seems a little inconsitent. b) Also in the same bash code highlighting sometimes line numbers appears and the whole code block get out of the format. c) Also in the same bash code highlighting some numbers e.g. '192.168' disappears cause it uses the page background color. May this happens also with perl or another language which i haven´t checked until now. Some things from here. Best, Erik

All of the Status menu pages (at https://wiki.ipfire.org/configuration/status) were at their Title without a path. So on the wiki I changed (system) to (/configuration/status/system). I do not understand the error I received - "Too Many Requests”.

Badly worded on my part. The IPfire box webpage is Status > System at https://ipfire:444/cgi-bin/system.cgi. I cannot locate the wiki page on https://wiki.ipfire.org Hope that explains things better!

I think we are missing a page. I cannot locate the Status > System wiki page at https://ipfire:444/cgi-bin/system.cgi It would include: - System Information - CPU Graph - Load Graph If I search for "system" I get a page with the title "Too Many Requests"

Color for text

I keep coming across lots of text that is colored. Green for the green network, red for the red network, etc. The only way I know how to handle is via HTML like this: Some Markdown text with <span style="color:blue">some *blue* text</span> How do you want to handle?

Old items on IPFire Wiki

Michael, It looks like the current IPFire wiki is from 2018. Many of the recently added articles are missing. From the July 19 IPFire twitter post it looks like there were issues getting the new system online. So I apologize if this is already know. Could an update be sent out via twitter or via the blog? Remove /start and redirect to just /

Many of the links in the ipfire forum point to web pages that end with /start. Here is an example from a thread posted on July 29: https://wiki.ipfire.org/nginx/start And this goes to: Error 404 This Page Does Not Exist This wiki page does not exist, yet. CREATE NOW On the new wiki web server, is it possible to redirect? If the server sees https://wiki.ipfire.org/nginx/start the web server redirects the page to https://wiki.ipfire.org/nginx I thought the wiki was down since I only see https://wiki.ipfire.org/start. Yes I am an idiot!

IPS Rule selection page

Hi all, I recently spent some time totally rewriting and fleshing-out the IPS rule selection wiki page: https://wiki.ipfire.org/configuration/firewall/ips/rule-selection. The iterative approach to choosing IPS rules is a difficult subject to put in to words succinctly and I feel the page has become very long and wordy. I'm aware that some people reading the English documentation won't have English as their first language, so I'd appreciate any feedback you have. Contrary to that, I feel that the page would be easier to understand if we had more good examples for readers. I've briefly communicated with TimF and he mentioned the flowbits bug/limitations at the moment (bugs like 12086 and 12078). If these bugs cannot be fixed soon or easily could someone with a better understanding come up with a set of work-around steps we could write in a notice somewhere in the IPS documentation?
