This change certainly looks cleaner and less cluttered than the old one.
One thing that I would change is the description of the different options.
For example, "System" is described as "What is under the System Tab can be found here." (english translation)
Why not use the old description of "Here you will find basic settings that affect the IPFire itself." which seems less redundant. Putting the description on the first page will keep people from having to click on things in order to see what's inside.
If you have an english version I would like to take a look at it and maybe add some stuff.
