recently Alex sent me a mail, pointing me at his  Forum -postabout a module in dokuwiki.  Stevee pointed him to this list, but since he is not so good at english, I forward his message to you. He suggests to use the same module that dokuwiki uses itself to manage multiple languages. You find the description on Dokuwiki.translation
Maybe this could help us in displaying the correct language, but I do not see it usefull in the steps to a finished documentation in the primary language or in the process of translation.
