if you like to put it that way... :-)

To be honest, I am furious about MUAs whose programmers did not read the RFCs and/or decided not to comply to them. Besides misspelling a header, they also put sensitive information in it because inserting them into a User-Agent header only would be too easy.

I am aware of the "security by obscurity" aspect of removing these information, but in order to protect the users of a mail infrastructure I administer, I concern this to be necessary.
