Hello,

if you missed the official release announcement of IPFire 2.15 Core
Update 77, please check it out on our web page:

  http://www.ipfire.org/news/ipfire-2.15-core-update-77-released

The new feature highlights are the rewritten firewall GUI that comes
with many more functionality and makes managing even complex rulesets
much more easier. The system is now hardened with the grsecurity
patchset, lots of drivers have been updated and support more new
hardware, cryptography features have been introduced or extended and
many things more.

Notes for updaters: While the download images have been released by now,
the update for existing installations is held back until next week*, so
that you will have some time to prepare yourselves for the update: Make
a backup and check if the health of your system is alright so that it
will survive the update.

The update is about 75 Megabytes in size and will take some time to be
done - especially on slower systems. Please wait until it has finished
and wait a couple of minutes until you reboot the system.

Best,
-Your IPFire Development Team

* For the early birds, who cannot stand the wait, check out how to
update in advance:
