Ladies and Gentlemen,
we are proud to release the first release candidate of IPFire 2.13 – the
reincarnation of the IPFire firewall distribution.
IPFire 2.13 is the next big release of IPFire and comes with a huge
amount of changes. In fact so many changes, that we can hardly sum them
up in one single post. Because of that, we have been posting some
reports about that on our planet:
#1 ARM
http://planet.ipfire.org/post/ipfire-2-13-beta-1-part-1-arm
#2 Strongswan 5.0 – IPsec VPN
http://planet.ipfire.org/post/ipfire-2-13-beta-1-part-2-strongswan-5-ipsec-vpn
#3 Wireless LAN
http://planet.ipfire.org/post/ipfire-2-13-beta-2-part-3-wireless-lan
#4 Bufferbloat
http://planet.ipfire.org/post/ipfire-2-13-beta-2-part-4-bufferbloat
Please have a look at them to find out how awesome IPFire 2.13 is going
to be. We still need a lot of testing for the final release, so we ask
everyone who can to contribute: Download one of the installation images
and test or simply donate (http://www.ipfire.org/donate).
