That wasn't deliberate, but expected at least.
I also tried to move somethings to other places so that we can re-use them
easier (i.e. the background image is used in the blog and so on and I wanted to
have the code only once). But it looks like I fucked that one up :)

I have never used anything else but Bugzilla. It works well for me.
Since I do not know any of the other systems I would say that you make the pick.
Not sure what quantity of tickets we are expecting we could also just send
emails.
