Dear Mailinglist followers,
in the past days development has been started which adds support for the
Wandboard to the next minor release of IPFire (2.15). The Wandboard is
an i.MX6 ARM based SoC, more details can be found on the official
webpage: http://www.wandboard.org
All required changes on the linux kernel can be found on our git.
I commited a working kernel configuration for the imx platform only,
which has to be enhanced for a full mutli-platform kernel.
Some first tests on the hardware have been done, IPFire boots up fine
and runs smooth, but there is still some work and a lot of testing to
do, in order to get all hardware components and features of IPFire to
run. Everybody is cordially invited to help us testing, all required
files can be downloaded from
http://people.ipfire.org/~stevee/ipfire-arm-multi/.
