Dear Mailinglist followers,

in the past days development has been started which adds support for the=20
Wandboard to the next minor release of IPFire (2.15). The Wandboard is=20
an i.MX6 ARM based SoC, more details can be found on the official=20
webpage: http://www.wandboard.org

All required changes on the linux kernel can be found on our git.=20
(http://git.ipfire.org/?p=3Dpeople/stevee/ipfire-2.x.git;a=3Dshortlog;h=3Dref=
s/heads/imx6q-wandboard-rbased).=20
I commited a working kernel configuration for the imx platform only,=20
which has to be enhanced for a full mutli-platform kernel.

Some first tests on the hardware have been done, IPFire boots up fine=20
and runs smooth, but there is still some work and a lot of testing to=20
do, in order to get all hardware components and features of IPFire to=20
run. Everybody is cordially invited to help us testing, all required=20
files can be downloaded from=20
http://people.ipfire.org/~stevee/ipfire-arm-multi/.

-Stefan
