[Documentation] The new Squid Wiki is close to be finished

Hi all, i´am close to finish the Squid wiki http://wiki.ipfire.org/nonpublic/de/configuration/network/proxy and it might be great if you all could overview it for faults or extensions. The only area which aren´t complete is the authentication http://wiki.ipfire.org/nonpublic/de/configuration/network/proxy/configurati… . So i only made the local authentication cause i have no experience with the rest. It might also be great if someone can finish this section. If this wiki was going to be corrected and checked, i will step then to the english translation. Greetings to all Erik

[Documentation] Today meeting for a teleconference causing the new IPFire wiki and structure

Hi all, i wanted to ask you all if you have time in the evening 12.02.2012 at 19h for a telefonconference. There are a couple of new ideas for a better structure and organisation in the wiki. [Documentation] Changed baud rate

Hi guys, I've added a little hint at the german alix part in the installation guide. Lot's of people had problems with there alix-boards, because they didn't changed the baud rate. So I've added a little sentence that the baud rate was changed with the core update 56. Would be nice if one of the German could check the technical background and translate it for English-speaking people. - Florian

[Documentation] Hardware wiki

Hello I'm thinking about to rework our hardware wiki. In that case i want to write a few reviews about hardware such as motherboards, cases, all-in-one-systems (like the fit-pc2 or Dreamplug) etc. The general informations an the entrance-site are quite good but not actual enough I think so I'll spent some time on it, too. On the top of the entrance-site we find already two reviews. Instead of them I'll create a subitem and will move them into it. Future review will be part of the subitem. Of course there won't be a review of every peace of hardware on the market. I'll only want to discribe some usual hardware and their possibilities for what it may used. Some examples systems I want to reviews about are: an ALIX; a single core Atom, a dual core Atom, a Via C7, a Transmeta TM5800 (800 Mhz) an ARM Further I want to write a review about NICs in which I want to demonstrate the difference in causing system-load. Supplements and opinions are highly appreciated... yours Daniel
