translation of the IpFire into Portuguese

Hello IpFire Team! My name is Gabriel and I am from Brazil. Almost a week ago I posted the news about the IPFire 2.13 - Core 66 release ( http://linuxtechhacks.blogspot.com.br/2013/02/liberado-ipfire-2.html). I translated the news into Portuguese and, suddenly, I got interested in helping the IpFire community translating the IpFire website into Brazilian. Is it possible for me to do it? Do you allow me? Sadly, for now I can only help in the translation of the website (not the distro), but only for now. I have few time since we work too much in São Paulo. but only for now, I intend to help in the translation of the distro in a soon future. If you allow me to do it, get in touch with me. Wiki update

Hello, yesterday, I updated the primary IPFire web server and the wiki software as well. I am sure some of you have already noticed, that it looks quite different. I won't reinstall the old theme, because it does not work with the old version. And instead of downgrading to the old version of the wiki I prefer the one in which all security problems are fixed. If there is anyone who would like to have a go and port the new layout to the wiki, go ahead! Despite the theme, I did not re-install all plugins. Most of them were redundant and so there is mainly the wrap plugin for formatting: https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:wrap Maybe some fixes are required, because the long-time obsolete commands were still used. -Michael

OpenVPNClient unter Windows Vista/7 ohne Adminrechte

Hi, hier mal eine Beschreibung für Windows dessen Benutzer keine Adminrechte haben. Installation muß als Admin erfolgen !!! Installiere bitte folgenden VPN-Client, entsprechend 32Bit oder 64Bit Betriebssystem. http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html Später wird ein anderes Anmelde-GUI verwendet: http://openvpn-mi-gui.inside-security.de/ Jetzt geht es ein wenig ans eingemachte... Nach der Installation des OpenVPN-Clients muß der Dienst im System von "Manual" auf "Automatisch" gestellt werden. Der Dienst lautet: "OpenVPN Service" und kann über Start-Ausführen "services.msc" geändert werden. Bitte das Programm "services.msc" nicht beenden. Jetzt sollte die Konfigurationsdatei, ZIP-Datei, für die VPN-Verbindung im folgenden Verzeichnis entpackt werden. Bei 64Bit Installation "C:\Programme\OpenVPN\config" Bei 32Bit Installation "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\config" Danach muß in der Datei "Name-To-IPFire.ovpn" noch um folgende Zeilen ergänzt werden. --snip-- management 127.0.0.1 1194 management-hold management-query-passwords auth-retry interact --snip-- Sollten weitere OpenVPN-Konfigurationsdateien vorhanden sein, muß jede Datei einen eigenen "management 127.0.0.1 xxxx" haben. Am besten bei 1194 anfangen und immer ein weiter "+1" gehen. Nun kann man über das Programm "services.msc" den "OpenVPN Service" starten. Als letztes sollte die Datei "openvpn-mi-gui-*-de-w*.exe" in folgendes Verzeichnis kopiert werden und eine Verknüpfung auf dem Desktop und Autostart erstellt werden. Bei 64Bit Installation "C:\Programme\OpenVPN\bin" Bei 32Bit Installation "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\bin" Vielleicht sollte man die alte GUI entfernen, so das ein normaler Benutzer diese nicht starten kann. Die neue GUI muß einmal als Administrator ausgeführt werden. Danach funktioniert es auch als normaler Benutzer. Ich hoffe ich habe alles gut erklärt. Gruß Heiner
