Hello Rod, good to hear from you again. In the past days was a lot of new development for OpenVPN on IPFire and so there was the need to bring the new features to the documentation. With that step i decided to give the wiki a new design structure which should be equal to the proxy wiki. So i split it into the configuration order, given by the WUI. The goal was (and is) to cut the prior very long configuration side into more smaller subject areas in hope for a better overview of the whole theme. I have made that until now for german and english, furthermore the new features PMTUD and CCD (http://planet.ipfire.org/post/core-update-65-goes-into-testing-stage-excitin...) should also be explained in a, i think, currently first version. May there can come also some more knowledge or examples into. The english wiki needs for sure also some improvements and may also some additional informations regarding to the new content.
The wiki in general needs a read-after-write check especially also the old text. But also the screenshoots needs to be checked for actuality, i have renewed some of them.
We decided to use no more the non-public wiki area to bring on some new content but to use instead the official area, so we thought there is the chance to reach more people/minds and ideas. To answer your question, write your suggestions directly into the wiki. It might be helpful if you send a small notification about your changes to this mailinglist so the other wiki translators know about some potential new work for their languages (including me for german).
In the next days i will bring on some new sections in the extensions area for OpenVPN. I thought the plugins like down-root.so and the auth-pam.so which are precompiled available on IPFire should become also their place with some ideas to implement them, will you all inform then over this platform.
If you have questions let it me know.
Meanwhile all the best and greetings
Erik

Erik,
I am sorry, but I have been very out of touch recently and not helping at all with anything to do with IPFire. Noticed the fantastic effort to bring some new documentation to the OpenVPN, and want to help if possible. I am a native English speaker (American).
How do you want my suggestions?
Rod

Hi all, now the english part is also done. For the first in the non public section, but it will comes, if the first overviews are done, i think today/hope into the official section. The relocation of this wiki to official section should be done in 5 Minutes.
So you can find it here --> http://wiki.ipfire.org/nonpublic#openvpn_auf_ipfire_konfigurieren . I used the same structure for english than before for the german, only difference is an :en: in the URL. So there are also new screenshoots in both wikis i improved also the content not only by explaining the new features also by filling in some corrections and additionals.
It might be very helpful if you can go also for corrections in design, grammar or whatever you will find. Please let it me know if you have ideas or critics.
Greetings and a nice first advent for you all.

Hi all, i want to inform you that i have renewed the OpenVPN wiki causing the actual development and a lot of new additionals. So i needed to renew also the design otherwise the scroll wheel becomes edgy ;-) . So at this time only the german wiki exists, the english one will follow tomorrow i think .
So please could you go for corrections and additionals, which might be very nice.
The new wiki sections can be found in here --> http://wiki.ipfire.org/de/configuration/services/openvpn/config
Thanks and best greetings to all
