Where did this end up? Is it OK to move forward? I don't mind creating wiki pages for the missing items if someone can point out what needs to be created. Since there seems to be no consistent position for that directive, the current approach is rather messy as it attempts to insert it near CONFIG_SMP (found and enabled across all architectures). [PATCH] debian: Disable perl package.

The perl package cannot be cross-compiled correctly for other architectures different from the hosts one. So currently disable the perl package until we get this fixed at a later time.
