This reverts commit 652da33c019a9ed4bab40670c88356b18ac9cccf. As Michael wrote on the list: "This creates a class which uses the l7 filter to match any P2P traffic and throttle it." Problem with trying to do downloadsrc and build

Hi All, I am trying to run a build. First time for a week or so but had some problems. Build is now running but I thought I would flag up what happened so far. I ran git pull origin next to get my repository updated. Then I ran ./make.sh gettoolchain which came back with Toolchain is already downloaded. Exiting... Then I ran ./make.sh downloadsrc and for several packages that were not in my cache it then downloaded the missing package into my computers /tmp/ directory and then looked for the file in my build cache/ directory and said it was not available. I copied the missing file from my /tmp/ directory to my build cache/ directory and reran downloadsrc and repeated the copying for each file that it downloaded into /tmp/ 11 in total. I had a look in the downloadsrc section of make.sh but could not figure out why it was placing the files in /tmp/ After all files were in my cache then downloadsrc successfully went through the whole sequence including all the BLAKE sums matching. Then I ran ./make.sh clean and then ./make.sh build which then gave me the following failure. I then deleted all my old toolchains and reran gettoolchain which then downloaded the same version of toolchain but with the .b2 blakesum file. Build is now running, hopefully through to the end without any hiccups. Regards, Adolf.

Re: https://community.ipfire.org/t/increase-monitor-resolution/6205/23 At times, when I go to customer sites, all I can access is the ipfire console with a wide monitor 1920x1080. In the past I was able to modify GRUB and increase resolution so I can see messages as wide as possible. I brought up the issue to the Community site and was told framebuffer was removed on cu157 (it existed in cu156). It would be a waste to lose all that work that someone did in cu156. And I doubt it adds many MB to the core system. So my request is to bring back the framebuffer capability. Thank you, Paul

[PATCH] Core Update 166: Perform spring clean of orphaned files

On an IPFire installation that has been around since Core Update 110 (released April 28, 2017), these files have been identified as being orphaned, comparing to a fresh installation of Core Update 164. To avoid such a list of files agglomerating, persons responsible for a Core Update should check whether an updated package contains deleted files in its rootfile. If so, they should be deleted on existing systems via update.sh as well. ipblacklist V2

Hi. I have been looking at Tim FitzGeorge's code for ipblacklist v2 on https://patchwork.ipfire.org/project/ipfire/list/?series=1215 to see if I can help progress its incorporation into IPFire. After I extracted the programs from Patchwork I have been able to build them into my firewall where they are running very successfully. The code on the server seems to be in good shape and apart from a few small patches and additions of a few missing scripts I think it could be successfully introduced into the IPFire code base. I am more than happy to help in seeing this process carried out but need to know if this is acceptable to yourselves. Regards Rob Brewer

Hi, I'm a little unsure about this: Shall we keep these last two lines regarding "P2P" in 'qos.cgi'? Line 477: ... imq0;220;7;1;$DOWN[1];;;1;P2P; ... and Line 483: ... $qossettings{'RED_DEV'};120;7;1;$UP[1];;;1;P2P; ... Otherwise I'll send a patch. Best, Matthias
