Hi,
this should not happen on any IPFire system. The mail server certificate is signed by our own CA which you can download from:
http://certs.ipfire.org/ca.pem
I'd recommend to import that on your workstation as well.

I disabled certificate verification as described in wiki. I didn't need this before, but...ok, here we go.
