Hi,
is there a specific reason why we're still using 'Net-DNS 0.47', dated 01.04.2004?
I built the current version (1.25, 26.06.2020) today, together with 'digest-hmac 1.03' and 'digest-sha1 2.13'. Especially the changelog for Net-DNS is really huge. After some rootfile adjustments all of them compiled without errors.
But what made me wonder: Net-DNS didn't use the path .../xxxMACHINExxx-linux-thread-multi/... anymore, except for .../xxxMACHINExxx-linux-thread-multi/auto/...
Could we use these updates? Or did I miss something?
Opinions?
Best, Matthias

No specific reason that I am aware of.
Please send patches :)
