This would not be a problem. Pakfire just looks at that number and if the version in the repository is greater than the currently installed one, it will install the new version of the package. It is possible to skip a few revisions in the middle.
In the stable repository, most people will probably see the jump. I increased so that people who installed the July 6 version from testing/unstable will now get the correct update once again. Just to be safe :)
