Hi,
during search of a solution for bug #12838, I played around a bit with the graphs. Actually they are based on the bytes RRD of collectd, collectd produces a packets RRD.
Wouldn't it more interesting to count the number of hits than the data amount? For example 10 packets with 20 bytes give the same Bps rate as 1 packet with 200 bytes.
I made some little modifications to graphs.pl. So I could easily produce the graphs for 'Bytes per Second' and 'Packets per Second' for nearly same time.
I have attached them for discussion.
Regards, Bernhard
I've added the CTINVALID events of the firewall. Maybe be of interest also. The color doeasn't mean anything. Just tried the numbers until the data were easily visible. ;)
