Hi Michael,
I did receive a "Welcome to forum.ipfire.org". I clicked on the link to activate, then I tried to do the "I forgot my password" with:
Username: jpoet Email address: jppoet@gmail.com
It came back with "The email/username information submitted could not be found."
If this is too much trouble, I could use my company email, but I did that some with my last job and since no longer work there....
Thanks,
John

Yes outlook.com is blocked, too.
I created an account for you. This was really troublesome because phpBB does not have a functionality for that and after I created an account on the normal way, not even the admin is allowed to change the email address to one that is blocked. Weird.
You should have received an activation email now. Please use the "I forgot my password" function to reset the password.
Apologies for all this trouble.

I believe I registered for the ipfire forum a while back, but I
am
unable to log in now. When I try the "I forgot my password"
option
it says my email/username could not be found. When I try to register, it says "The email address you entered is not allowed
to
be used." The FAQ says to contact an administrator, but fails
to
say how to contact an administrator. Can anyone here help?
Thank you,
John
Hi John,
I did receive it. It is just that my mailbox is always full :)

Yeah, I get the same.
I clicked the "reactivation" button again for your account and you should have an other registration email. Lets hope that works.
If not I will manually reset your password to something and send it to you and you change it.

Unfortunately, it did not. After clicking on the link, it briefly said something like: your acccount has been activating. Thank you for registering. but when I do the "I forgot my password" it still says: The email/username information submitted could not be found
Thanks again for working on this.
