just a quick reply. I'm very busy at the moment. Work and personal related. Nothing new from my side. Times should get better soon. Unfortunately I can't make it on Monday evening, sorry.
I'll keep you posted.

Hi, my hollidays are finished and I'm really refreshed and good things. My first goal is to revive the work on the website which seems to be a bit aslepp.
So please tell me where it hangs and where support is needed. On Monday the 4th of September, at 8 pm (CEST) is our next conference and I would be pleased to speak to you then.

Hi, there are open bugs for the homepage. I got in touch with Maurice about them, because they are not clear to me, I think he will answer them soon. I know that the buttons are still not right, but I think that it is easier to writer a dedicated CSS for them, the Bootstrap Buttons are to far of what we need.
For the Feature page I think that on the weekend I will do the basic markup and submit it and then the enhancement over time, there is some tricky stuff.

Hi again,
today I logged in to our Zeplin project and as I said already the things which are done looks very promising.
Is there something I could help or any open questions please tell me!
Maybe we could meet us in a telephone conference to talk directly about it.

Hi,
I hope that all spent Easter well. :-)
I really like your work and it heads forward.
Finally all of us are now equiped with an ipfire account so everyone may use their public folder to share files and informations. Of course I don't want to prescribe which tool you have to use but for most things we have already our own tools which all of us are able to use.
So we don't need to use 3rd party products like dropbox.
If there is a question about it or something else please feel free to ask.

Sorry for my late reply. I copied the Captive Portal stuff inside the shared Dropbox IPFire-Share folder. Here is the link again: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1j3p4f3igjxk2u8/AAAmebh2c1ay1t-z4UKrsWBAa?dl=0
Please use the Pattern Lib of the Website (at Zeplin) for the Captive Portal. Yes, the old StyleGuide for Captive Portal is available as well. But please use the Pattern Lib (which is located at Zeplin) as the *primary* guidelines.
Let me know if there are any questions.

Hi,
I'll check out bugzilla and add the open issues there. I used bugzilla

It's nice, but it doesn't look too great. Maybe the next big UI/UX project :)
Other topic: I signed up for a small payed freelance job. Deadline is 24.4. Until
that date
I'm not sure if I can continue working on IPFire. After that date I'll
of
course continue :)
No worries. Work comes first of course.
Are the Captive Portal styleguides somewhere? So I can keep pushing on that.
And I am sure that there is enough stuff available for Sven to start working on the Features page.

Regarding the updated content: I am going to sit down with Daniel as
soon as
we can. It's Easter now, so maybe we get something done this weekend or
the
week after.
I mainly want to focus on the texts and working. Maybe make them a
little
bit shorter and more to the point, but I generally do not plan to change anything that is big enough to change the layout, too. If we do need some
changes I
won't hesitate to ask, but it is all rather minor stuff that I do have in
mind so
far.
Regarding the bug tracker:
The category exists already under "Infrastructure".
I created a new umbrella bug which should be used to make other bugs
depend
on it. That allows us to always have a list of things that need to be
dealt
with at a glance:
https://bugzilla.ipfire.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11314
Just create new reports in the same category and type in 11314 into
the
"Depends on" field.
Bugzilla seems a big ugly and scary in the beginning but it is really powerful :) So give it a chance.

Regarding the icons: I would like to use the material design icon
rules.
With
rules I mean the guidelines to create those icons. E.g. 2px stroke
strength.
Reason: it's easy to create custom icons with these rules and the
keep a
consistent look. We will need a lot of icons for the WUI.

If Michael can add a new category for the website in the ipfire
bugtracker,
than we can add the issues there.

Small CSS? It has 5385 lines at the moment, is not that small :-)
But in
the
live version I will compress the code. For the CSS compilation I use a program called Codekit that
complies the
CSS
every time I save the document. But I will look for something that can do that step on the server.
