Hi folks,
I just want to give a short status update. I was very busy the last couple of weeks and was not able to did a lot of stuff. The last weeks I worked on the navigation experience in general for the WUI (Web User Interface). It changed a bit from the design you already saw at Behance/Dribbble. My goal was to make it easy to access, fast to access and technically not that complex and of course optimized for all kinds of devices ;)
I'll provide some screens with descriptions soon so that we can discuss any concerns and further ideas.

Just a quick question that was raised: Will the menu sliding in and out be the default or is this the "mobile" version where it slides away for space reasons?

I've spent a lot of time to investigate a working navigation which is technically not that complex. The accordion expand technique is used by Bootstrap itself for example.

I toyed around with another color arrangement. The "bold" one with the "loud" red header (you already saw) and a more "calm" one. Open https://projects.invisionapp.com/boards/R51OE9AUMV8EP/ and scroll down to "Alternative Color Theme".
Furthermore I added a 2nd screenshot at the "Desktop" section (at the very top) with a bright statistic. That looks a bit less messy. Small but acceptable disadvantage is that the colors from the stats doesn't pop out that much anymore.
I'm tending more to the alternative color theme. The red header yells too much for attention IMHO and it looks every time like a big warning.
What do you prefer? You may need more than one look and more than a couple of minutes to get a personal opinion :) Take your time.

I added an additional variation of an alternative version (please have a look) and now I'm sure that I prefer the alternative versions. It's easier to focus on the data itself. The "loud" red header distracts from the data too much in my opinion.
I would love to go further with the alternative versions. Do you agree?

I started a new "InVision Board" where I placed all previous designs of IPFire's Homepage, Features page and the first design of FireInfo. https://projects.invisionapp.com/boards/SW1T861UDPEB2/
You may notice that the Features page and FireInfo use the same left navigation. Furthermore I added a subtile background image at the top-left corner.

Hi,
the fireinfo design is great. I find it a very good solution with the releases to not present this as a too long list that is difficult to comprehend but instead having something really easy and nice-to-look-at doughnut chart.
I am not too sure about the background image on the web user interface though. It makes it a little bit harder for me to pay attention to the foreground things. I also like the white background for the charts better.

I added an additional variation of an alternative version (please have a look) and now I'm sure that I prefer the alternative versions. It's easier to focus on the data itself. The "loud" red header distracts from the data too much in my opinion.
I would love to go further with the alternative versions. Do you agree?

Furthermore I added a 2nd screenshot at the "Desktop" section (at the very top) with a bright statistic. That looks a bit less messy. Small but acceptable disadvantage is that the colors from the stats doesn't pop out that much anymore.
I'm tending more to the alternative color theme. The red header yells too much for attention IMHO and it looks every time like a big warning.
What do you prefer? You may need more than one look and more than a couple of minutes to get a personal opinion :) Take your time.

I've spent a lot of time to investigate a working navigation which is technically not that complex. The accordion expand technique is used by Bootstrap itself for example.
